The One Thing...Dwell

One thing I have asked of the Lord, and that I will seek:

That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life,

To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord

And to meditate in His temple. Psalm 27:4 Amplified

The world we live in is always changing. There are many things that captures our attention. With television, social media, work, family, friends, Netflixing and chilling. There are so many things that keep our minds in over drive. We become overwhelmed with life, trying to out do everyone else, or wishing you had someone else's life, or even being so busy that we are actually accomplishing nothing but being busy! Confusion is at an all time high, even with all the information we have at our finger tips. Mimicking the lives of celebrities or anyone who is rich and we "think" live better than us! (which most of the time, they are the most miserable). That's what we believe is the "End All Be All." We are so carnally focused that we forget "The One Thing" that should be our deepest desire.......to dwell in the house (presence) of the Lord! What we need more than anything in this day and age is a moment of stillness in the presences of God! We get so consumed with Day to Day activities that we forget to seek God, or even rest in his presence. Constantly going, and never stopping, we believe that this is God ordained! GOOD ordained is not always God ordained! Dwell means to live or rest in.... Rest can be more productive and lead to success faster than busy! Dwelling in His presence will heal you, rejuvenate you, balance you, and give you mental clarity! We serve God with our mind! Busy people most of the time, are serving themselves more than serving God, but if you rest, clear thinking is a result, and you can hear God more keenly in His presence. My best decisions I have made have were in the solitude of God's face. The Bible says... Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. Meaning work, rest, work, rest in that order! God will began to bless the work of your hands because you are operating in His presence! Enjoy where God has you, stop comparing your life, comparing your family, or comparing anything. Comparison is a spirit that attaches it self to people with low self esteem. Pray, Fast, read your word, set aside time to take care of your body! Eat healthy, give to others ( without telling anybody), take care of your skin, exercise, and in the words of Sarah Jakes Roberts, drink your water and mind your business! (lol) Your life will change completely and people will ask you .....Tell me your Secret? How did you become so great? #OneThingIHaveDesired #Dwell
